Global Positioning & Locating Specialists (GPLS, INC.) was established in January of 2002. Before we started we did a market study on our competition as to what kind of service and knowledge they had on the products they sold; mainly GARMIN personal navigation systems. We also spoke with many associates/potential customers as to what they expect from a supplier of personal navigation systems.
We found that there was a huge need for educating customers on the investment they were making as well as providing them with support on the products they had purchased. Customers like to feel important no matter the size of their purchase. The answers were quite simple; product knowledge & customer service. This is what we set out to accomplish!
Starting out in the basement of a home, we set out and promised every customer we were getting “One on One” service on every purchase they made from GPLS.
Today we have grown into what you see today. Our business is based solely on customer referrals and customers that keep coming back. Most of our customers have either purchased a system from us or have had simple questions on products they have purchased from our competition and just needed some one- on-one assistance. We have satisfied their needs and they return for to make new purchases.
